It A Full Time Job Sometimes

Ps 18:16-19 (THE MESSAGE)

But me he caught — reached all the way
from sky to sea; he pulled me out
Of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos,
the void in which I was drowning.
They hit me when I was down,
but God stuck by me.
He stood me up on a wide-open field;
I stood there saved — surprised to be loved!

There are times in your life when you look back and recall events and times, and you can remember the hand of God saving you from near disaster. Even to the point that He must have moved heaven and earth to save you.
David wrote this Psalm toward the end of his life, in a time of reflection, he realized the mighty power that God had used to save him and was deeply moved and comforted by that.

As a believer today, we can see the same things, and it should encourage us, if He saved us then, He will surely save us again. Children of God have something going for them that no one else has, the Almighty Savior and King is our body guard, and is worthy of our praise.
So as you reflect back and remember today, give God the thanks and glory as David did for the battles He has brought you through.
