Take Courage

Acts 23:11 (GWT)
The Lord stood near Paul the next night and said to him, "Don't lose your courage! You've told the truth about me in Jerusalem. Now you must tell the truth about me in Rome."

If you ever have one of those days, where every one seems to be against you, you know when it feels like there is a mob outside your door waiting to take you out for standing up for what you believe. Take courage, this is not a new concept, Paul here was in the same literal situation. The people outside his door had taken vows not to eat drink or sleep till he was dead by there hands.

Paul was led by God, instructed by God, and comforted by God. God even stood next to him and said "to not lose courage." God had more for him to do, and let him know that there was another destination for him to complete his mission.

Whenever you feel bombarded by the enemy, take note of this, that God is standing by you guiding, instructing, and comforting you all the way. We must remember that Paul was just as human as us, and he probably wanted to give up more times than we will ever know, but the scriptures tell us that he never did, he turned to the only one who could save him and put his trust in Him. And you can do the same.
We aren't probably getting mobbed in the physical sense, but we do in the spiritual sense, and it can be just as bad in our minds (that's what the devil wants you to think) Take comfort from the Lord today, know that the Lord has more for you to accomplish for His will and stay the course.

Pray for those who are really going through hard battles in there lives right now that they would be encouraged today and strengthened by the word of the Lord today,
In Jesus Mighty Name
Amen
