Who's Team Are You On Anyway?

Matt 12:25-30

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

"Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house.

"He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.
NIV

Have you ever been in a house divided against itself? Have you seen the destruction it brings from the inside. I have been in a house like this and I can tell you first hand, nothing good can come from it. Its a constant battle, and there are no success's only defeats.

A house pulling in opposite directions will only pull itself apart, and then it wont be two houses as some suggest, but 2 half houses. The only way we advance anything is to be united and to pull in the same direction together. This will work in homes, churches and even at work.

If you find yourself pulling in one direction and you feel a lot pulling against you. Perhaps its time to take a survey and make sure you aren't the one pulling the wrong direction. It is so easy to get off course in this life and fight for the wrong things because of an emotion or a feeling that got stirred up in you.
Often times a person can start to pull for the enemy and not even realize it.
Line all you do up with the Word of God and be in prayer, for your motives and direction, the Lord is faithful to reveal them to you. We need to be gathering with the Lord , not scattering. Make sure you are on the right team today.

It is impossible to be neutral about Christ. Anyone who is not actively following him has chosen to reject him. Any person who tries to remain neutral in the struggle of good against evil is choosing to be separated from God, who alone is good. To refuse to follow Christ is to choose to be on Satan’s team.
