Prepare Ye The Way

Ps 22:27-28 (NIV)
All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
will bow down before him,
for dominion belongs to the Lord
and he rules over the nations.

Ps 86:8-10 (NIV)
Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord;
no deeds can compare with yours.
All the nations you have made
will come and worship before you, O Lord;
they will bring glory to your name.
For you are great and do marvelous deeds;
you alone are God.

Luke 3:5-6 (NIV)
Every valley shall be filled in,
every mountain and hill made low.
The crooked roads shall become straight,
the rough ways smooth.
And all mankind will see God's salvation.'"

In Luke, John is pointing back to Isaiah 40:3-5 and psalms is just reaffirming that the King is coming. All of the word of God points to Jesus coming, first to die for us and then to lift us up so all can see the glory of God. There is no more common thread in the bible than this. All throughout, thousands of years, many writers one thread! Think He was trying to tell us something?
You bet He was, there will come a time when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess the Lord is God, and we have the opportunity to do it now on our own and enjoy the blessings that come with that or we can wait till He returns and then bow before our judgment.

Fact; the Lord is coming, though we don't know when, by faith we receive Him and live for Him fully according to His word, and when He does come, we who believed on Him shall be caught up with Him to receive the prize of eternity with our glorious Savior and that's really all the fact we need.
John the Baptist quoted Isaiah 40, saying prepare the way for the Lord is soon coming.
Are your hearts prepared? The Lord is soon coming!
