Find Out What Pleases The Lord.

Rom 13:11-14

And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Eph 6:13
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

1 Thess 5:8-10
But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 5:8-10
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.

The very last sentence is key; "find out what pleases the Lord."
Are we doing that? Are we shinning His light into this dark world, exposing evil for what it is, keeping ourselves in control?

Saints, in these days we are in, if we have been studying Gods word, we would know that things are getting closer than we know. The times are changing, the worlds moral values are plummeting at an all time horrific rate, and we are just sitting back on our salvation and letting it happen.
I'm certain that its not what God wants for us to be doing it says in Ephes. 5:11
Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, rebuke and expose them. That's what pleases the Lord. He really doesn't want the majority of the world going to hell. But rest assured if they keep up the way they are, than it will be certain.

We are called to shine Gods light into this world, and to be a light by doing His work here on earth.
