Dont get Bogged down

Gal 3:10-14 (NIV)

All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. (Deut 27:26)

Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith. (Hab 2:4)

The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them. (Lev 18:5)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. (Deut 21:23)

He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Gal 3:23-29(NIV)

Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

If you ever felt like walking with God was just a bunch of laws and rules that you could never keep even for a day, this should show you that nothing could be further from the truth. The work that was accomplished on the cross by Christ set us free from all the old Testament laws that were binding everyone up. It had its purpose for the time to lead us to Christ but Christ died That we may be set free and be able to live for Him.
With that said, why is it that people even in our own denominations try to add things to this? Why cant it be just as it says?

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. John 15:12-13 (NIV)

To easy?
One would think, but it is what it is. No more no less. Why would anyone want to make it harder?
