Psalm 119:57-60 (NLT)
Lord, you are mine!
I promise to obey your words!
With all my heart I want your blessings.
Be merciful just as you promised.
I pondered the direction of my life,
and I turned to follow your statutes.
I will hurry, without lingering,
to obey your commands.
You can almost sense the urgency in the writers tone here.
Gods people, stay in His word, look to Him for guidance, wait for His blessings, allow God to direct there steps, move forward on His word with out delay to do His will. And God shows up in a big way.
So take some ownership in Whose you are, because you are the sons and daughters of the Most High God.
Read the words of this Psalm and truly begin to live your life out the way God planned us to, seeking after His face with an urgency and passion like no other.
Remember, God’s Word, the Bible, is the only sure guide for living a pure life.
